When you go to New York, everything seems so big...buildings, museums, meals, parks, and especially the famous panoramic views. There may be different options about where to go to get the best views, but nobody can deny that the Staten Island ferry is one of the most enjoyable things to do in the city. You'll go past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and what's more, its entirely free! If you go during working hours, then there are few people, as most of the travelers are commuters going from Staten Island to Manhattan for work. The ferry leaves every 30 minutes from the Whitehall Terminal.
