Paintings by Rembrandt

The State Apartments are an integral part of Windsor Castle and are decorated with some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto and Gainsborough. There are also works by Holbein, Brueghel and Van Dyck. If you have the chance to go to London between October and March, don't miss a visit to George IV's private apartments! It's the most richly-decorated part of the castle. Tip: do not miss the Queen's dollhouse - it's the most famous one in the world!
