Starhotels Splendid Venice hotel

The Starhotels Splendid Venice is a four-star hotel which actually seems more like a five star. Its location near Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square is perfect. We stayed there for a couple of nights in a private room overlooking a quiet canal. The service was impeccable! Breakfast was very good but the variety was somewhat limited. A couple of negatives: Internet access is not free and the room felt very small.
