Starbucks Pudong

On the banks of the Huangpu river in eastern Shanghai, you'll find a Starbucks that offers, for me at least, one of the best views of the Chinese metropolis. This American company is noted for carefully choosing the best locations for its coffee shops, and that's never more apparent than here. The location is unbeatable, with a terrace right on the river overlooking the colonial-era British and French buildings as well as the famous skyscrapers.
