Beautiful town hall
The Grote Markt in Antwerp is full of charm and part of it due to the town hall which is a beautiful building itself but even more so when you decorate with colorful flags. Its construction, completed in 1565, was in charge of Cornelis Floris, making it one of the oldest Renaissance buildings in the country. In 1576 it suffered a fire during the looting in Antwerp known as the "Spanish Fury" ... The interior was restored in the 19th century. A set of pictures which shows the history of Antwerp are showcased. Today you can visit the interior of this beautiful town hall. And if we add this council, Bravo Silvio Sculpture, and Guild Houses, it forms a perfect square why it's worthwhile visiting the city.
