St Robert of Newminster
The church of St Robert is one of the centers most relevant to Catholic worship in the North of England, as it houses the relics of St. Robert of Newminster (1100 - 1159), priest and abbot who was later canonized and sanctified by the Roman Catholic Church. It is located in the city center of Morpeth and has has extensive grounds, which is used as a training center for the Catholic community in the city.
