St. Peter's Church

Esta iglesia se encuentra en la [poi=63905]Plaza Mayor[/poi], justo al lado del [poi=63906]Ayuntamiento[/poi]. Es la iglesia más tradicional del pueblo, única parroquial, a pesar de que hay otra junto al [poi=48611]Castillo[/poi] (la de [poi=63873]Nuestra Señora del Castillo Viejo[/poi]). Está construida en piedra, y tiene dos torres campanario de planta cuadrada de estilo herreriano a ambos lados de la fachada principal. La portada tiene unas columnas salomónicas, sobre la que se encuentra en una hornacina la imagen de Santiago apóstol. En el interior, el retablo del altar mayor fue realizado por Guillermo Doncel en el siglo XVI.

This church is located in the Plaza Mayor, right next to the City Hall. It is the most traditional village church, parish only, although there is another next to Castillo (Our Lady of the Old Castle). It is built of stone and has two bell towers of square plant herreriano on both sides of the main facade style. The cover has a Solomonic columns, on which is in a niche image of Santiago Apostle. Inside, the altarpiece was made by Guillermo Doncel in the sixteenth century.
