A nice view
The cathedral of Saint Maurice is one of several medieval monuments in the area. Only the walls survive of the original structure, and you can see a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. It's a good example of Angevin Gothic art, and has been renovated many times over the centuries. The beautiful facade has several levels, with sculptures and figures adding visual interest. At the bottom of the church there is a lovely square with a large fountain, which is nice for a walk and the chance to enjoy the view of the cathedral.
