St Marc Quadrige

Voici le Quadrige de Saint Marc, ces quatre chevaux tout de bronze vêtus trônent fièrement dans la basilique Saint Marc. Ils ont connu l'hippodrome de Byzance, puis la Pizza et le Carroussel à Paris, avant de revenir orner la Piazza. A cause de la pollution, ils ont pris leur quartier dans la basilique pour préserver l'œuvre rare qu'ils représentent, car c'est le dernier quadrige de l'antiquité Classique dont on peut profiter :)

Here is the Quadriga of St. Mark, the four horses of all clad bronze sit proudly in the Basilica San Marco. They knew the Byzantine Hippodrome, then the pizza and Carrousel in Paris, before returning to adorn the Piazza. Because of the pollution, they took their headquarters in the basilica to preserve the rare work they represent, because it is the last of the ancient chariot Classic that can be enjoyed :)
