The St James Pub was surprising because it's in the heart of Old Lyon. It's an UNESCO heritage site, where you usually only find restaurants with typical food to attract tourists. The St James is at St Jean, the main pedestrian street of the old Lyon. In the basement below they have a pool table, and above there is a big screen to see different sporting events such as football and rugby. It's well decorated and lively with locals and some tourists. Celebrate the holidays with great English and Irish festivals. It generally closes quite early by the noise in the neighborhood. The menu is quite varied, with imported beers, not too expensive for the neighborhood.
