An oasis just off Oxford Street
Oxford Street is one of the busiest shopping streets in London, and the sheer number of shops and tourists can leave you feeling a little overwhelmed. So St Christopher's Place is wonderful because once you enter that little alley next to the H&M, you'll feel like you've stepped into another city altogether. This feels like a secret that very few tourists know about. After a couple of meters the lane widens, and you see exclusive boutiques like Kew, Mulberry and Noa Noa, a little square with a fountain and some benches, and many cafes and restaurants, including Apostrophe, Pizza Express and Carluccio's.
