A gothic style relic
At the beginning of its construction in 1875, the Basilica of San Antonio was a chapel erected by orders of Viscount Embar, Antonio Ferreira da Silva. In Gothic style, the temple is impressive with stained glass rich in color. The most remarkable parts are the altars and confessionals, carved wood. Both sides and the front of the entrance, are carved in wood. The inside is like returning to the past, reliving centuries of history and religious tradition. The amazing organ has two angels, with leaves and carved walnut, and ivory flowers. The Basilica of Embaré is next to Channel 4, in the Jardins
