Staying on a boat docked in a harbor is quite an original thing to do, lets be honest. Especially if you are staying on a boat which is decked in history, like this one. The SS Rotterdam, a former local historic cruise of the 50s, is today a comfortable hotel that offers all the amenities of an establishment of this kind but it is curious that it is the way it is. At the same time, you could say that is a period museum. What I like is that this is a historic ship that has been maintained as it was, so that you can imagine walking on it 50 years ago, and think about what it was all about at that time.
