eXplorador Escocés
Belonged to an important tailor
This house, built in the XVII century, belonged to one of the most significant tailors in the history of Scotland, Robert Spittals, renowned for being an official royal tailor who was preferred by King James IV. For lack of offspring this house went through various owners and was rented by a famous soldier, Captain Johnstone. So, totally illogically this house was converted into several private properties, instead of hosting a museum or public building managed by the Scottish Government and local Stirling government. It's so wonderful but the building can not be accessed, just the exterior.
