My family and I visited this little corner of paradise last year in March, probably the best month to visit the Maldives. We stayed 7 nights on Diffushi island, a rather small island with lots of palm trees and flowers that's surrounded by a lagoon full of really indescribable colors. It was an unforgettable vacation!
I overnighted in the Maldives with the only the sounds of the sea and stars, and my sarong, bikini and Canon 50D. I was testing long exposure and trying to capture the brilliance of the turquoise sea and the sky. I remember the fresh smell of the recent rain, the ocean, and the vegetation. Spectacular and unforgettable!
Sun, sea, and relaxation. No stress, just untouched nature and the polite and cheerful local Maldivians. You have to see it to believe it.
