Solar do Benfeito and Chapel of Saint Anne

The Solar do Benfeito is a bit outside the old town but you can walk there easily. It's stately in an "L", set around a central courtyard and was built in the eighteenth century. You can't visit the inside as it's a private dwelling, but you can see its striking baroque facade, painted a vivid orange color, integrated with the Chapel of Santa Ana. Besides the family crest the exterior decoration consists of a few stone statues placed on the ledge.
