Sobreiras do Faro Forest
On the way to A Guarda (Pontevedra), I saw some signs advertising a private hiking route in the Viladesuso area. It was difficult to find as the signs were not very clear. After paying three euros, we began the route. There are two points of interest on this path: the small forest of Sobreiras and the views of the mountain and ocean. It is known that the bark of these trees have the best wines and they are also used as thermal insulation. Apparently, its thick bark withstood a fire in 2006. This area is crossed by the river do Broi. Until recently, it had three flour mills. It is worth visiting this place.
