Sinos da Torre

Para quem vive na serra gaúcha ou faz passeios turísticos por aqui e deseja ir à um lugar mais retirado para rezar, refletir ou renovar a fé, o Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Caravaggio na cidade de Farroupilha é o lugar ideal para isso. É referência nos quesitos de apelos religiosos e tem um complexo estrutural muito grande e histórico. Um dos atrativos a serem visitados são os chamados Sinos da Torre. Eles ficam localizados entre a Igreja do Santuário Antigo e o Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Caravaggio. É um linda e grande torre que fica no meio de um gramado e algumas árvores. É composta por cinco sinos e cada um deles tem nome e pesos diferentes variando de 110 KG que é referente ao menor sino à 1.050 KG para o sino maior. A torre por si, foi construída no ano de 1900 e composta por pedra basáltica. Tem uma entrada que dá acesso ao seu interior e para permitir que alguém puxe a corda dos sinos. Na parte superior e frontal tem um relógio e que não está em funcionamento. No lado de fora mais ao fundo ficam os banheiros públicos e uma placa com mais informações sobre os sinos inclusive os tons de notas musicais que cada um emite.
