Silken Amara Plaza hotel

We came here for Christmas 2012, and it was a great success. It's quiet and peaceful, with friendly staff, and a skillful bartender. A good tip: you can reserve a parking space at the hotel for 16 € a day. Then you can leave your car in the parking lot when you go to see the city. The centre is a 15 minute walk, but there's a bus stop just a few metres away. The best option is to purchase the SANSEBASTIAN CARD in the tourist office, which includes 12 trips for 5 days + Free guided tour (1 person), and if you return it in good condition you'll receive € 1. Best of the room: the bed, very comfortable, and with spectacular views of the city from the 9th floor.
