Sidari

Sidari is a major tourist destination in northern Corfu, close to the well-known and oft-visited beach Channel of Love. Sidari has a large number of hotels for tourists, but the accommodations are predominantly apartments in the suburbs. The city also has a rich nightlife with many clubs and restaurants. The town beach is very shallow (like most beaches on the island)

Sidari is a good place to stay on the island, but it is not a place in which to spend the your entire vacation, especially in Corfu.

Sidari is another beautiful tourist town of Corfu with breathtaking landscapes. What we find are a kind of sand or rock elevation with coves of great beauty. There is a narrow strip of sea between two of these elevations called "The Love Canal". To get there, there is a nice little road that runs along this coast. I went in April, before the high season so there was almost nothing open and, in fact, much of it was being re-painted by the locals. However, if you go in summer, I think there are many more people. It is a place, apparently, that is very popular with British and Germans, who even have villas there.
