Restaurante Shis

Junto a la desembocadura del Douro, en la preciosa playa de Ourigo se esconde el coqueto y sorprendente restaurante Shis, y digo se esconde porque desde la carretera no resulta nada fácil adivinar su emplazamiento ya que el edificio se mimetiza con las rocas de la playa como si pretendiese logar una fusión con el entorno que se traslada posteriormente a los fogones. El local es realmente espectacular ya que dispone de una terraza exterior ideal para las noches de verano y de un salón acristalado desde el cual en invierno casi podemos sentir, acomodados en la calidez de nuestros asientos, los azotes del oleaje y la furia del Atlántico. La gente más cool, chic y snob de Oporto se da cita en este lugar lo que convierte al restaurante en un local de referencia para la modernidad. El Shis es un restaurante cuyo fuerte es la cocina japonesa (el shashimi es más que correcto) aunque sin abandonar ni mucho menos la cocina tradicional portuguesa, eso si con toques de alta escuela. Por último destacar que la carta de vinos es sencillamente excepcional. La relación calidad-precio es más que aceptable ya que una velada para dos personas, con un vino medio puede salir por unos 30-40 Euros por persona. Puede que en la actualidad se trate del mejor restaurante de Oporto, personalmente no lo pongo en duda. ¡Buen provecho!

Near the mouth of the Douro, in the beautiful beach of Ourigo hides Shis restaurant charming and amazing, and I say it hides from the road because it is not easy to guess its location as the building blends with the rocks on the beach as Logar if to merge with the environment that subsequently moves to the stove. The location is spectacular because it has an outdoor terrace ideal for summer evenings and a conservatory from which we can almost feel winter, ensconced in the warmth of our seats, whipping the waves and the fury of the Atlantic. The coolest people, chic and Oporto snob gathers in this place what makes the restaurant a local reference for modernity. The Shis is a restaurant whose forte is Japanese cuisine (the shashimi is just right) but without leaving much less traditional Portuguese cuisine, that if high school touches. Finally note that the wine is simply outstanding. The value is more than acceptable for a night for two people, with an average wine can go for about 30-40 Euros per person. You may now question the best restaurant in Porto, personally I doubt not. Enjoy!

En m'éloignant du centre de Porto, et en longeant le bord de mer...je me perds à Foz do Douro.. Sur l' "Esplanada do castelo", je découvre ce restaurant, sur la plage. On voit tout de suite que c'est un restaurant assez classe.. D'ailleurs, en arrivant, avec mon amie et notre touche touriste un brin prononcée ;) ...On nous regarde un peu de travers...Qu'importe! On s'est régalées dans un cadre qui vaut vraiment le détour. A noter que les tarifs sont effectivement un peu élevés pour Porto..Mais rien à voir avec les prix qu'un restaurant français pratiquerait pour les mêmes plats...

Me away in the center of Porto and along the seafront .. I get lost in Foz do Douro .. On the "Esplanada do Castelo", I discovered this restaurant on the beach. We see immediately that this is a pretty class restaurant .. Moreover, arriving with my friend and our key tourist pronounced a bit ;) ... It looks a little wrong ... Whatever! We were regaled in a setting that is well worth a visit. Please note that rates are actually a little high for Porto .. But nothing to do with the price for a French restaurant would practice the same dishes ...
