Senda de las calas de piedra

Mitad excavada en la roca, mitad bien pavimentada para evitar esguinces, la senda de las calas de piedra es un bonito paseo que puedes hacer junto al mar. Discurre contigua a Tower Road y al paseo marítimo de Sliema y permite rodear buena parte de la localidad. A tu paso irás dejando a un lado el mar y un montón de playitas de roca en las que el baño está permitido (pero no el topless). También varias piscinas naturales en las que, si te apetece, podrás darte un chapuzón. Cuidado si la marea está alta, el camino puede estar mojado. Se trata de una senda muy sencilla, ideal para una tarde relajada o un rato en familia. Sus vistas son muy buenas. Al principio (si vienes de St Julians) podrás contemplar las bahías de Exile, Balluta y Spinola, la Torre Portomaso y el edificio del Casino. Después todo es horizonte, el azul hermoso horizonte del mar Mediterráneo.

On your way you go aside the sea and plenty of small beaches of rock in the bathroom (but not topless) is permitted. Also several natural pools in which, if you like, you take a dip. Beware if the tide is high, the road may be wet. This is a very simple, ideal for a relaxing afternoon or a family time path. Your views are very good. At first (if coming from St Julians) you can see the bays of Exile, Balluta and Spinola, the Portomaso Tower and Casino building. After all, horizon, beautiful blue horizon of the Mediterranean Sea.
