Seltun Geothermal Area

In the south of Reykjanes the geothermal area comes to the surface through the crack in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which traverses Iceland diagonally from the southwest to the northeast of Iceland. Passing the lake Kleifarvatn we can discover the Seltun Geothermal Area, which is of ​​high geothermal activity located south of the Reykjanes Peninsula (Iceland).
