Una de las desventajas que tiene salirse de Budapest cuando estás viajando por Hungría es el hecho de que la opción gastronómica se reduce considerablemente. Mientras que en la capital puedes encontrar comida de prácticamente cualquier rincón del mundo y a precios accesibles, en zonas más rurales la cosa se limita a restaurantes húngaros en los que no se habla ni una palabra de inglés. Paseando por la pequeña localidad de Gyömrő, y casi resignado a terminar comiendo sopa goulash por enésima vez, encontré -a pocos pasos de la plaza del ayuntamiento- un sitio en el que comí la mejor hamburguesa que haya probado en mucho tiempo. Se trata de un restaurante llamado “Séf Bácsi”, que si bien se especializa en hamburguesas cuenta con un largo menú de platillos internacionales. Además, por una comida completa (incluyendo bebidas) difícilmente pagarás más de 5 euros por persona. Una de las ventajas es que el personal habla inglés y el menú es también bilingüe, por lo que no deberías tener problema para elegir algo de tu agrado.

Walking through the small town of Gyömrő, and almost resigned to finish eating goulash soup for the umpteenth time, I found - a few steps from the town hall square - a place where I ate the best burger I"ve tasted in a long time. It is a restaurant called "Séf Bácsi", which, although it specializes in hamburgers, has a long menu of international dishes. In addition, for a full meal (including drinks) you will hardly pay more than 5 euros per person. One of the advantages is that the staff speaks English and the menu is also bilingual, so you should not have a problem choosing something you like.
