Bord de Mer Museum
The Bord de Mer museum is at the entrance of Benodet, and close to the Tourist Office. It's housed in an old cider house. The museum covers an area of over 500 square meters. It's been open since 2006 and describes the atmosphere of the beach and boating along the banks of the Odet in the 1930s. Walking along the small rooms you can find a permanent exhibition which features some rare and unusual pieces from the city's past. Through their boats, their toys and beach games, you can discover how people in Benodet lived during that time. The paintings that decorate the walls of the ground floor rooms illustrate how the city was during that time.
