The Boardwalk
Benodet, Brittany whose name means "head of the Odet," is a small coastal town between the canton and the Bigouden Fouesnant. Benodet has managed to remain an authentic fishing village, with its many lighthouses. From Cornwall Bridge, linking Benodet with Sainte-Marine, is a unique view on the Odet estuary and marina, where tall ships dock. The old port is the departure point for boats headed for the islands of Glénan as well as cruises on the Odet. This area has many rocky headlands, cliffs, lagoons, small coves and endless beaches of fine sand perfect for sliding sports. On the coastal roads and rocky shores you can enjoy the peace and charm while walking or taking part in a bicycle tour.
