Scultura del Frate

La scultura del frate si trova proprio all'ingresso del Teatro Bonoris di Montichiari. Si tratta di un opera artistica di Francesco Visentini, che, come riportato sull'etichetta descrittiva della scultura, è un giovane studente dell'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brescia. La scultura del frate è costruita in terracotta ed acrilico, presenta linee molto semplici e si adatta bene al contesto della piazza in cui si trova. Ho trovato molto interessante questa iniziativa da parte dell'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brescia di esporre opere di giovani artisti in posti frequentati e conosciuti come questo. Trovo sia un'ottima maniera per far conoscere i giovani talenti italiani al di fuori del contesto accademico.

The monk sculpture is located at the entrance of the theater Bonoris Montichiari.
