The Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport is the main airport in Chile. It is located 17 km west from the city of Santiago de Chile, and in the commune of Pudahuel. Compared to Mexico's airport it is a bit small but still very comfortable and modern. It sports a variety of restaurants and bars and several very nice shops for crafts and other memorabilia. This airport also has a nice view of the mountains.
Overloaded, antique, and with need of some renovations. There is a construction of an expansion going on. But some renovations were developed recently on VIP Lounges, commerce and services.
Don't trust taxis outside. There are some options of official taxis before your exit the terminals with closed prices. Free wifi available.
Efficient, tidy and clean place, not good for going if you are looking for relax or peaceful experiences, but if you are about to travel, its quite a good place to take off from
