A charming market
If you're in Chiang Mai on a Saturday, I recommend that you visit the Night Market which takes place between 5 and 10 pm on Wailai Road, opposite the South Gate. This is a much smaller market than on Sundays, mainly attended by locals and residents. It is very charming, a true reflection of the tastes of Thais, where you will find home decorations, jewelry, clothing, food, etc. On Lai Wai Street you'll find a fork off to the right. Take it and you'll come to two tiny temples (one made of silver) which are very beautiful lit up at night. The main temple is called Wat Si Suphan. Worth the experience!
