A calm place
Sarusawa Ike is a lagoon to the west of Nara Koen. From the banks, you can see the pagoda of Kofuku-ji, a temple in Nara Koen, and you can watch the turtles swimming. For me, it was a very calm place, and a good stop after visiting Nara Koen.
