Sarrión

Este pequeño pueblo, pertenece a la comarca de Gúdar-Javalambre, está a los pies de esta bonita sierra, y en invierno rodeado de las altas cumbres nevadas. Tendrá unos 1000 habitantes, si llega, y está situado también casi a 1000 metros de altura, distando 36 km de Teruel. Posee una interesante Iglesia barroca del siglo XVIII, la Iglesia de San Pedro, y una bonita ermita del XII, la de la Sangre. En Diciembre se habla mucho de este lugar gracias a la feria de la trufa, de la que os hablo en otro rincón. Para comer, el restaurante Serrón, en la plaza del ayuntamiento, su comida es una delicia.

Sus campos truferos que dan fama a este pueblo y las interesantes rutas y monumentos que tiene para visitar hacen de el una excelente opción para pasar un fin de semana. Desde el pueblo sale la cicloruta de Ojos negros así como la ruta de fortificaciones de la guerra civil y distintos itinerarios que llevan a ermitas miradores y fuentes para visitar. Cuenta con toda clase de servicios y está prácticamente al lado de la A23.

Magnificent village nestled near the heart of the Sierra de Javalambre. Its truffle fields that give fame to this town and the interesting routes and monuments that it has to visit make it an excellent option to spend a weekend. From the village there is the Black Ojos bicycle trail as well as the fortification route of the civil war and different itineraries that lead to hermitages, viewpoints and fountains to visit. It has all kinds of services and is practically next to the A23.
