A small park
Between strips of asphalt it can be difficult to find a place to indulge in some sport, but you can find a few spaces where you least expect them to be. The Sara D Roosevelt Park, a "park" in the Lower East Side named after the mother of the president, is one of them. Here we saw some young Chinese people (we are near Chinatown) playing squash on the courts, and there is also a basketball court, a skating rink, and a football field.
