Säntis

Säntis (2,502 m) is a mountain in the Alpstein Sierra in the Appenzeller Alps in Switzerland. You can reach it by cable car in Schwägalp (a return trip is 45CHF = 36 €), from which you can start your photographic report, because it's beautiful. In 1597 the canton of Appenzell was divided into two half cantons because of religious differences: the half-canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden (Catholic) and Appenzell Ausserrhoden (Protestant). You can walk to the top and see spectacular mountain views. Not only can you see the Swiss Alps, but also part of Austria and Germany. They have restaurants and such.
