Santerías of la Candelaria

You walk through La Candelaria and the surprises you are greeted by are amazing. The restaurants serving breakfast, the locals, the fantastic museums and colonial houses, the churches ... Suddenly, from Plaza de Bolívar and walking away from the Cathedral for a few blocks, you enter the world of images of saints, virgins and crosses. Then you see a world of plaster and ceramic colors. This corner of Bogota is fascinating. The images are all of beautiful religious and symbolic significance.
