Strikes the eye

Near the Mall and the historic center stands this square, though small it strikes the eye of the tourist for its colors and construction. Low stairs and you're at a place quirky where the historic buildings seem to quiver and be sloped. An interesting place on the way to seeing the Zocalo.

The Plaza Santa Veracruz, is located on the side of "the Mall". Here is the Church of Santa Veracruz, the National Print Museum, the old hospital of St. John of God, now the Museo Franz Mayer, and the Church of San Juan de Dios.
