Like kings
The Santa Cruz seafood restaurant is one of the best fish restaurants in Valencia. Cheap, it is not. Between five people the bill was nearly 500 euros for a full dinner, including wine and coffee. But we ate like kings.
First, they brought us a plate of seafood, including crayfish, prawns, shrimp ... Then another plate of fried calamari, followed by a tray of delicious garlic prawns, and finally a soup. The soup is called 'all I pebre', or ‘garlic and spicy’, and yes, it’s very spicy, it’s a reddish soup with potatoes, squid and shrimp, but this soup is not where you find the real high quality seafood.
