Wonderful views
Very near A Coruna is Santa Cruz, in the neighboring Concello de Oleiros. It is ideal for a Sunday morning. There is a walk along the beach, with a vermouth terrace with wonderful views of the Castillo de Santa Cruz (on an island connected to the mainland by a bridge) and the neighboring city Herculina. Also in the vicinity is a park that has, across the main road, a playground area for children. There is a hotel (I think 4-star) that has been recently remodeled and is highly recommended (I attended a wedding and really enjoyed it).
