Fer Tamudo
A real gem
In the words of José Saramago the Church of Santa Clara is a real gem. No doubt he was right. The church in Porto (Portugal) and its convent were built in the fifteenth century, but underwent major changes in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The Portal is Renaissance and hints at what awaits us inside. The first thing you notice upon entering is a positive energy. The inside, despite the ornate decoration, only transmits harmony. All golden carvings, it's worth a visit. When leaving the church turn right and there's a good view of the city and the Fernandina wall.
