San Isidro de Trapiche Church
The San Isidro de Trapiche Church was built between 1857 and 1860, and it has a rectangular nave that's covered by a dome. In the front there's a large arched door with a half-finished tip and on it there's a small shrine that holds an image of the saint who gives the church its name, San Isidro. The painter Francisco Hernandez, who was born in Melilla in 1932, was self-taught, and in 1945 he drew a Via Crucis, which is kept inside the church.
