Church that is a military church
Situated in Ferrol, in the province of La Coruña, is the Church of San Francisco. This church was constructed as a temple Military in the year 1757 occupying the place of the former Convent of San Francisco from whom comes the name. Being a Military Church depends on the Military Archdiocese which has its headquarters in Madrid. Its architectural style is neoclassical with an altarpiece by the artist Ferreiro Xosé sculptor as well as woodcarvings.
