En este [poi=11020661] Barrio Nuevo [/poi] con forma triangular, llamado así porque fue posterior al de “San Francisco”, nos encontramos con esta calle con sus características y coloridas casas, balcones y rejas de hierro, mayólicas pintadas, inmensa cantidad de plantas y flores de todo tipo que hacen de la misma un verdadero vergel y que desemboca en la Avenida de Severo Ochoa. Allí se encuentra situado, en el Nº 3, el Hostal “La Pilarica”, que tiene muy cerca de la puerta de acceso una mayólica con la imagen de la Virgen como dando la bienvenida al viajero y en el nº 36 la Pensión Hostal “La Estrella”, que se destaca por el rojo colorido de sus múltiples bignonias.
