San Cipriano Church
St. Cyprian's Church is the Mother Church of Terras de Cervaria, or more specifically the Portuguese town of Vilanova de CERVEIRA, one of the most popular border areas frequented by the Galician flock to its weekly market on Saturdays. In the centre of the village is a main square and the the most important church which is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Also, the Pousada (hostel) of D. Dinis, the former king of Portugal is located inside a large wall. The church of San Cipriano is a beautiful building dating back to the 18th century and is located just opposite and outside the wall. It's also worth noting that since 2002 this Portuguese town has had a Museum of Contemporary Art.
