Samuel Adams Brewery

If you’re in Boston and looking for something interesting to do, this brewery hosts free tours of its facilities. (They suggest a $2 donation in the beginning, which goes to charity. You could easily get away without donating, but it’s honestly an extremely small price to pay considering what you get out of the tour.) If you’re not already familiar with ingredients used to brew beers, an employee there explains everything in a brief amount of time. It’s like a crash course on how beers are made. You also get to see the machines used to make the beers, and at the end there’s a complementary beer tasting.
