Salzach River

El río Salzach divide la ciudad en dos. El compacto altstadt o casco antiguo peatonal, está en la orilla izquierda. Presidiendo la ciudad el Festung Hohensalzburg se aferra a los acantilados de Mönchsberg. Cruzando el río, la orilla derecha alberga el Schloss Mirabell, Kapuzinerberg, y numerosos complejos turísticos, hoteles y restaurantes. Unos diez minutos al norte está la estación de trenes y autobuses. The Salzach River divides the city in two. The compact pedestrian altstadt or old, is on the left bank. Presiding over the Festung Hohensalzburg city clinging to the cliffs of Mönchsberg. Across the river right bank houses the Schloss Mirabell, Kapuzinerberg, and numerous resorts, hotels and restaurants. About ten minutes north is the train station and buses. Los sábados hay mercado a lo largo del río, puestos con perritos y muuuuucha gente. Por la noche se puede tomar una cerveza en el bar flotante Salzach. ¿No encuentras internet en los bares? En el río hay wifi gratis.

On Saturdays there is a market along the river, stalls muuuuucha puppies and people. At night you can have a beer at the bar floating Salzach. Can not find internet in bars? In the river there is free wifi.

Cuando por fin llegamos a Salzburgo desde Hallstatt, lo que más me impactó al cruzar el puente hacia el casco antiguo, fue el color del río. De un color azul salinizado precioso y muy limpio que quedaba perfecto con la estampa de postal de la pequeña ciudad.

When we finally got to Salzburg from Hallstatt, what struck me across the bridge to the old town, was the color of the river. From a blue salinized beautiful and very clean which was perfect with the picture postcard small town.
