Salto do Rio Caveiras

A serra catarinense abriga uma série de locais bacanas para visitar e curtir com a família e amigos. A cidade de Lages é uma de suas representantes e tem o turismo rural como ponto forte em trazer pessoas de fora para conhecer os cenários desse lugar frio mas com calor humano intenso. E foi em Lages que voltei a visitar depois de mais de quinze anos e relembrar alguns dos lugares que mais gostava de ir e um deles é o Salto do Rio Caveiras que fica na zona rural a uns vinte quilômetros do centro. Trata-se de uma cachoeira linda com águas de uma barragem que recebem tratamento e são distribuídas na região. O local é muito visitado por turistas e também é roteiro de ciclistas e donos de propriedades ali por perto. Para chegar lá é preciso ir na direção do distrito industrial da cidade e na rótula que vai em direção à Fazenda de Turismo Rural Boqueirão virar ali e seguir por mais uns cinco quilômetros até uma placa grande do lado esquerdo da rodovia indicar o acesso e seguir pela estrada que a poucos anos atrás a recém foi asfaltada. Na frente dessa cachoeira fica uma ponte que a poucos anos atrás substituiu a antiga de madeira e mais perigosa. Nos dias de chuvas torrenciais quando o nível do rio subia a ponte antiga facilmente ficava submersa.
