The water is very clean and refreshing
About 45 minutes by bus from Samana, towards the interior of the peninsula, there are a series of waterfalls called El Limon. You can take the bus to the edge of the road and then you go the rest of the way by horseback riding or walking for 30 mins to reach the falls. Under the last fall you can swim and I recommend it, because the water is very clean and refreshing.
