Salisbury Cathedral

Located on a vast expanse of grass which gives an added feeling of solemnity, this is one of the most impressive cathedrals I have ever visited. Outside is the tower, which is the highest in England, inside, opposite the entrance next to the wall of the north aisle, you will find a working medieval clock. Near the central aisle is a font in fitting with the architecture and beyond that, the central dome. From here the route runs along the north aisle where there are several chapels. Stop a moment and look over a thousand carved details. Following the tour of the South you arrive at the Chapter House where you can see a copy of the Magna Carta in 1215 that the king signed.

If you are lucky enough to hear the choir singing along with an orchestra, you will feel transported back in time.

The Salisbury is the best preserved. Nobles wrote it because they were tired of paying so many taxes to finance the war crown. That letter inspired the constitutions of the United States, England, the declaration of human rights of the United Nations, etc.. They declared their existence as a people and their freedom from the almighty. In the cathedral, you can also see the flags of the military who were to conquer the Indians, and the oldest clock to keep it running, no display but with bells.

The most high spire in the UK

Impressive how he wants this beautiful gothic architecture cathedral dominates the town of Salisbury. INSIDE tHIS architecture welcomes and becomes almost a light embroidery that rouge the courtyard of the cloister, which amazes for its size. The central nave of the cathedral on a sunny day s'innonda of polychromatic light, irridiscenze dates from the large and magnificent stained glass windows. Compared to other cathedrals around the UK this building was costruto in just 38 years to replace the cathedral of Old Sarum,

Piece of cathedral ...

Since you're approached Salisbury on the road, this piece is striking Gothic cathedral. Although, if not because we had to stop to eat, surely we had continued long ... Come on, that if you get caught in passing, it is worth taking a walk around. Apparently, this cathedral has the tallest spire in England, and its library houses one of the four copies of the Magna Carta. But if you want to know more, rather than yourselves a copy-paste, on Wikipedia will have all the info. I leave you some pictures I made.
