I was surprised by the exterior of Salieri, a very ornate mixture of French and Italian traditional design. On the front, there's a portrait of Salieri with golden angels and the traditional masks of comedy and tragedy. There are lots of plants on the sidewalk and some small tables with umbrellas. It was still closed when we finished our tour so we decided to just snap some photos and have a look at the menu to maybe come back later. The menu of the day had a soup du jour, a leafy salad with feta cheese, fried calamari, fresh crab cocktail, and smoked chicken salad for starters and chicken cacciatore, tuna steaks with potatoes and vegetables, beer-battered fish and chips, spaghetti Bolognese, pasta with white wine cream sauce, and ricotta-stuffed cannelloni for the main course, and homemade Tiramisu and Italian gelato for dessert.
