The famous Torre Salazar
The famous Torre Salazar is halfway down the promenade area of the estuary and is a XV century building. Its purpose was neither more nor less than to control the location regarding both boats and people. Many years ago a fire destroyed the tower and today, after rehabilitation, it is home to a museum showing the history of the town and a well-known restaurant in its lower part.
