Where the Rance River Ends
Where Rance River ends, you can find the magnificent, eponymous estuary. It's full of colour and life, and reflected in its waters is one of the largest religious architectural heritage of this region. It's branch of the sea, dives and appears on the surface as the tide rises or falls. It's a force that pushes and brings life to the area's ports. These are tiny ports with little movement, where the algae cover the stairs and railings, as witnesses of the passage of time. This is Saint-Suliac, with its churches and historic area with its 'Ruettes' (very narrow streets) among which you can get lost.
